Great neighborhood pet shop. Sammy is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to your pet’s needs. Oreo is a great cat helper!

I was just walking off Hicks on my way to the R station after picking up a cheap shelf from Marketplace — I saw a very content beautiful coated black cat sitting on the stoop, walked in, and then was greeted by just about the nicest person. He was very kind to every customer walking in and seemed to know everyone by name, happy to see to their pets as well. He has a sparkle in his eye and his name is Sam. I didn’t plan on going here but if I’m not mistaken this might be the most pleasant experience I’ve had at a pet store in all of NYC so far, in less than 15 minutes. Who would have thought someone who isn’t a little misanthropic could run a pet store. I walked away buying two cans of very nice food, well priced, and plan on getting back soon even if it’s three stops further from my usual store.

Great store with a huge selection of pet products! I needed advice on what food to get for my cat after she had a bunch of teeth removed, and they had great advice and a variety of options! Will be coming back!

My family and I have shopped here for over 20 years. Samih & his team are professional and courteous, always helping us find the best products for our cats, whether simple like cat toys the girls love, or complex like passover cat food. They are a central part of Brooklyn Heights’ Montague St. If you have pets and want to support local business in Brooklyn - shop here!

Small family owned store with everything you need for your fur babies. The owner greets everyone by name. Great neighborhood store!!! Please STOP giving Jeff Bezos your money and start buying your pets stuff from this mom&pop cute store! We spent around $19 for a bag of bocce's cookies, a pumpkin pouch and a hills science can, really reasonable prices.

Stopped in for a gift for a friend’s dog and found the cutest toys and treats that were loved by the dog!! The owner has great suggestions and let me browse around for a while. It can be easy to miss this shop with the scaffolding work at the moment but I highly recommend it for any pet needs or gifts! Support local businesses!!!

Sam & Omar are the absolute best! Our dog, Brooks, pulls us into the shop out of excitement every single time we turn the corner onto Montague street. Incredible customer service, so helpful, and Brooks gets a treat every time we stop in — often sending us home with the extra samples. 10/10 recommend supporting this locally owned pet store!
